Christmas Time
Maybe you think that after all what I did before Christmas, I will take a break for Christmas. You have never been that wrong! It's the moment for me to keep going because we have a lot of important meet after Christmas like Ontario Cup, Eastern Championship and finally the Olympic Trial. And I want to be qualified for the Olympic Trial, so I need to swim really fast right after Christmas.
Handle Stress
For me,
it`s the most easiest thing to do, because I`m not a stressed man and also
because when I was young, my coach teaches me how to handle it. For example,
when I am feeling stressed at the pool, I listen to music, take a breath or
visualize. Music helps me to relax and helps me to focus on my swimming. It`s
almost the same thing for the breath, it`s to focus on the breath not the thing
that stressed me and same thing when I visualize. When I’m stress outside of
the pool, I do workout or mechanics to change my mind almost like what the
breath does at the pool. Thinking about how to handle stress has made me
realize that even if I’m not a stressed man I have to deal with stress
sometime, but it`s not a problem for me.
My Ecological Footprint
If
everyone on the planet lived my lifestyle, we would need:
=3.74 Earths
As you can see, if everybody was like me,
we will need more than three earths but I’m under Canada’s average that is I
think around five. So I’m in the right way but I need improvement in the food
footprint section and in the housing footprint section. In both of these I’m
over my country average but in general I’m a lot under so if I’m able to
improve these maybe I could only need
between one and two earth. This test makes me realize that I need
improvement.
North Bay vs My Hometown
Maybe for you a city is a city but
not for me. I’ve been here in North Bay for one month and I can easily tell you
some difference and similarities between North Bay and Ville-Marie. Both looks
like a village because they are full of tree, they don’t have skyscraper and we
don’t fell oppress with all the crowd. On the other hand, North Bay is a lot
bigger than Ville-Marie, my hometown is like 5 000 of population and North
Bay is over 50 000 of population, it’s almost ten time Ville-Marie!!!You
can also see it in the mentality of the people, at Ville-Marie almost nobody
lock his car or house and each time you take a walk, when you see someone you
exchange a few word. We can’t say as much of North Bay! So, my hometown is
quieter than North Bay but, North Bay is one of the quietest and one of the
most natural big city that I’ve visited in my life.
My Primary Color

My primary color is green. That would say that I’m a creative problem solver. I’m someone who is conceptual, analytical, and logical thinker. My insatiable thirst for understanding and information is what drive me. I’m a problem solver but once the goal is accomplished I lose interest and need to move on.
I’m also a lot orange and that told me
that I’m someone who is entrepreneur and someone who need to act. So it’s
almost the opposite of green but it’s real I’m a thinker but when I’ve finish
to think it’s time to act. And as you can see my blue category, I’m not a
sentimental person.

Pay Back Time
In the first weekend of December was my second meet of the year: the Youth Cup. This meet regroup all the fastest junior in the Canada. We were around 12 from North Bay to participate at this meet. It was amazing because I had drop all my times for the first time since last year. For my first swim of the meet, 200 M. breaststroke, I improvde my previous time by 6 second and I finished 60th. The next day, I swam two swim, it was the 100 M. breaststroke and the 50 M. freestyle that I improved respectively of 3 second and by 1 thousandth and I finished 16th and 85th. The last day, I swam 100 freestyle that I improved by 3 second and I Finished 82th.

Never Too Late
Almost one month ago, I went to my first meet of the season. It was a good way to know every swimmers in the Titans team, because when you are trainning you only talk to the swimmers in your lane so at the meet I had more time to talk with more people. On the personnal side, this meet was a little bit ordinary, because I wasn't in top shape and I was tired so this made ordinary results. All my time was slower than last season but we had a very fast relay each day. Even enough fast to race with the Sudbury' university team.
